By accessing and using PDFCraft, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
PDFCraft provides free, browser-based PDF tools that allow users to merge, split, compress, convert, edit, and manipulate PDF files. All processing is executed locally on your device via JavaScript and WebAssembly.
3. User Content & Local Processing
Your files remain strictly on your local device. PDFCraft does not upload, inspect, copy, or store your documents on any server. You retain full ownership and responsibility for all files processed using our tools.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use PDFCraft only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
- Process documents that infringe upon intellectual property rights of third parties
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the security or operation of the website
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
PDFCraft is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operations, or that processed files will meet your specific requirements. We strongly recommend keeping backups of your original files.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFCraft and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service or any loss of document data.
7. Open Source & License
This software is released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0). Source code is available in accordance with AGPL section 13 via the source code link in the footer.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting to this page.
